Meredith Salenger
When she was a kid, Salenger enjoyed performing in front of her family and friends. Her mother took her to her first acting class at the age of eighteen years old. Her first role was as an 'orphan who sings, dances and dances' in Annie, John Huston's feature film. Salenger was also part of several commercials on television. Her first role as a lead actor was in the Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann, co-starring John Cusack and Ray Wise. The film won her the Best Actress in a Drama nomination at the Young Artist Awards. After having starred in four more films by her 18th birthday, which included A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, The Kiss (1988) and Dream a Little Dream (1989), she left Hollywood to go to Harvard to further her education. After her return to Hollywood, Salenger resumed acting with credits which included Lake Placid and The Third Wheel. Salenger has also appeared in independent films which include Quality Time and Sparkle & Charm. Salenger was in the episode from 1998 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also wrote a song called "Flow Through Me" with Koishii , Hush; and she appeared as a background member of the Counting Crows video for "Hanging Around". Salenger was a Dawson's Creek film critic Amy Lloyd in two episodes in 2002. She also appeared as a guest on Cold Case as Sloane Easton as the victim of the episode "Ravaged". Salenger was in Race to Witch Mountain, an upcoming Disney film where she played Natalie Gann, a television reporter. Salenger has voiced the voices of a variety of characters from the Cartoon Network's Star Wars: The Clone Wars which includes Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee and Ione Marcy during the second season, Che Amanwe Papanoida during the third season, and Pluma Sodi in the fourth season. She also voiced Lisa Sanders in the one-hour Nick at Nite drama series Hollywood Heights which lasted 80 episodes. She also voiced numerous characters from the Mad and Robot Chicken television series. Salenger also portrayed the Nightsister ghost in Star Wars Rebels' season three episodes. She was portrayed by Elias Koteas and Virginia Madsen in Jake Squared, as well as Jennifer Jason Leigh.
