Sadie Sink Bio

Sadie Sink is an American actor, is most well known for her roles on Netflix's Stranger Things (2016), American Odyssey (2015), and Fear Street: Part Two 1978 (2021). Sadie was born in Austin (Texas), the capital of Texas. Her father is an American football coach. Because of her love for making a remake of Disney's High School Musical (2006) together with her brother Mitchel, when she was seven, her mother decided to send her off to acting classes at a community theatre, located in Houston. In turn, it resulted in a Broadway audition, and eventually the lead role in the revival of Annie. In addition to her role in the show, she appeared in the Emmy-winning television series The Americans. In 2015, she co-starred alongside Helen Mirren in The Audience production on Broadway as a young Queen Elizabeth II. She has since also appeared in the short film Odyssey (2015), and in the movies Chuck (2016), The Glass Castle, and Eli (2019). She portrayed a young Queen Elizabeth II in The Audience, a Broadway show The Audience. The queen's elder was played by Helen Mirren. At the age of 11, she started acting in the theatre and was featured in Annie on Broadway.
