Aaron Jeffery

The Logie Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His role includes Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "FletchFletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and moved to Australia when he was seventeen years old. He studied acting at NIDA. After graduating from NIDA, he began his television career on the children's series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best-known for his performance as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He departed the drama in 2008. He was also a part of the third season of New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was part of the series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. He wrapped filming on 22 June. Three days later, Jeffery was officially announced as Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for a period of two weeks. It was revealed in October that Jeffery was assigned to be a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's show Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April, it was announced 2021 that Jeffery would be appearing on the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is based on the Karin Slaughter novel. Jeffery's character on McLeod's Daughters was rewarded with the Silver Logie in 2007 and in 2004.
