Emily Swallow

 American actress Emily Swallow, born December 18th 1979. Her most famous work is her roles as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara / The Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She also is famous for her character of The Armorer on the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also in the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began acting at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also participated in professional and amateur productions of theatre. Swallow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She pursued her studies towards an MFA in Acting in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was the star of the world premiere of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also appeared alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsin the production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. In the year 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also starred alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps in dealing with diverse situations in their lives.
