Magda Apanowicz

 Magda Apanowicz is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her most famous work is her role on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. She was a part of the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz, who is Polish-American and attended the 9th year in Poland. She lived along with her uncle. She also attended an elementary school in Jelenia Gora. She then went on to pursue a degree at Vancouver Film School. The brother of her introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she was instantly interested in acting. In 2002, she made her first acting appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She did a brief appearance on John Doe's TV series. From 2007 until 2009, she played the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. In 2008, she appeared in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular character on the TV drama Caprica, with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. In the following season, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she guest starred in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web show, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz appeared as Emily in the show Continuum In addition, she was in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. While it was filmed in 2012, The Green Inferno was international made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science fiction thriller film Volition. It was released in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the recurring role of Sandy on the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
